General Information

Bachelor of Visual Arts Telkom University is a study program within the Faculty of Creative Industries, with an educational focus on Intermedia, Film & Photography, Painting, and Art Studies. The Fine Arts program at Telkom University is dedicated to shaping creative professionals for employment in the creative industries sector. The Fine Arts program has received international accreditation from ASIC and Accreditation National A accreditation from BAN PT, and the process of submitting for National Excellent Accreditation, the Fine Arts program has engaged in international collaborations with partner universities and industries, resulting in various activities to support faculty and students in implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Regularly organized activities, including international exhibitions and workshops, are made possible through these collaborations.

Program Description

STISI Telkom, as an institution of higher education in art and design, has been at the forefront of creating comprehensive study programs to prepare graduates to become experts in art and design, as well as creative entrepreneurs. In its 23 years of existence, more than 1,200 alumni have made significant contributions to the Indonesian creative industry.
The educational programs at STISI Telkom are specifically designed to produce graduates who not only possess artistic and design skills but also exhibit high entrepreneurial potential. Students are taught to develop both manual and computerized skills with a focus on the values of nature and Indonesian culture.
Through the Creative Business Coaching (CBC) program, prospective graduates create creative business plans and portfolios under the guidance of faculty and industry practitioners. Financial support from industry partners, ministries, government agencies, financial institutions, and banks strengthens the development of creativity and entrepreneurship.
Since joining Telkom University in 2013, STISI Telkom has transformed into the Faculty of Creative Industries (FIK) or School of Creative Industries (SCI). It remains committed to producing generations of designers and creative professionals ready to contribute to the future creative industry.
